"Ardebil" word is a Avestan word which is made of " Arta" (holy) and " Vil" (city). So it means " holy city" it is located in the western north of Iran and occupants about 1 percent of Iran's areas. This important region includes cultural, social, natural and historic attractions having prospered economy of agriculture and stockbreeding, and rich mineral resources; it is one of the most important regions in Iran. From the Joe tourism point of view this region includes the most above fresh water lakes in the world which are located in Sabalan peak.
